A Look Back On 2015
JANUARY
January was pretty uneventful, other than Alex & I going to the movie theater. Which doesn't seem like a big deal-but we never go to the movie theater. We save our money to go on trips. But we made the except three times this year. This month we saw The Boy Next Door. I recommend it!

Orlando, Florida - Disney World + Friend's Wedding
I haven't updated all summer long because it has been busy! One of the reasons...we flew down to Orlando for a friend of mine's Disney wedding! It feels like Alex & I have been traveling all over this year. Plus side is I have mastered dragging my carry-on throughout the airport. Normally it would flip & flop all over the place.
When we landed in Florida, we went to pick up our rental car. It was late & we were tired & still had a 1 1/2 hour drive to the hotel from the airport. We were surprised when the car company upgraded us to a Camaro. *thumbs up*
The next day we had completely free because the wedding wasn't until Friday. So we decided to spend the day at EPCOT. I was able to meet Winnie The Pooh & Tigger! And Belle! I was super excited. Way more excited than a normal 25 year old should be to meet them :P.
It being at the end of June...in Florida...it was extremely HOT. 104 degrees hot. I couldn't take my sunglasses off because the second I did, sweat that was trapped under my sunglasses would pour down my face. Sounds miserable, but we had such a great time! And that night we met up with the bride to be & some of her family to spend Extra Magic Hours in EPCOT. Best thing ever. No lines...no hot sun...Perfect!
Starting the day off at EPCOT we were able to use (for the first time ever) Magic Bands. We felt like the super heroes on Captain Planet-but instead of rings...it was wristbands. :D

The Day We Sprung Our Dog Out Of Jail
Well...doggy jail. Aka the pound.
Our sweet little dog Lucas disappeared. I happened to see one of my friends on Facebook posted a picture of a dog at the pound. Immediately realized it was out doggy.
The day started off nice & feeling like Fall outside. Fall is my favorite time of year so I was excited when I took our dog Allie outside for a wall this morning. I snapped a picture of the sunrise.

Little did I know the day would be a nightmare. Our dog disappeared a few days ago and we hoped that someone else found our dog & took him home with them. When we saw him on Facebook this morning saying that the dog was at the local pound we panicked.
We ended up paying $131 to get him back. We then had to go to the court house to get some sort of tag for him. That took a while. We were so happy to be back home with our boy.

The picture above is a picture of us right after we bailed the dog outta doggy jail. This was actually taken in the doggy jail parking lot.
He even got his very own mug shot. O.o

Happy 4th of July!
To start off my fourth of July...while I was getting ready for the day I managed to get a second degree burn on my leg from my curling iron. It hurt (and still does) but at least my hair looked good.
Alex & I spent the fourth with his family. We started off the day by spending hours in TMobile so Alex could switch carriers. He also upgraded to an iPhone 5s. He has got me obsessed with everything Apple. I even got the iPhone 5s before him. Hopefully now that he has his he can show me more stuff about my phone...because he is much smarter than I am & will figure things out much quicker!
Here we are in TMobile.

"Ice Cream" Sandwiches
I love ice cream sandwiches, but not the calories. I've been trying to eat better lately (as in the past 48 hours). It feels like summer & I need ice cream. Buuut...since I have been trying to eat better, I needed to come up with something myself. & it was a success & really easy to make.
All you need is :
*W h i p p e d C r e a m*
*V a n i l l a E x t r a c t*
*G r a h a m C r a c k e r s*
*T i n y P i n c h o f S u g a r*
Grab a bowl & put in as much whipped cream as you want.
Then you're going to add vanilla extract. As much as you want. I started out with a small amount & kept adding more & tasting it until it was the way I wanted. If you add to much vanilla, just add more whipped cream. After you mix it up well, add a TINY pinch of sugar...
Take the graham crackers & break them in half. Add as much of the mixture as you want. The more the better...& just stick them in the freezer!
I'm not too sure how long I left them in there. It was probably about an hour & thirty minutes. While I waited I went swimming next door with my sister & cousin Sierra.
When I got home I ended up eating three of them & they are delicious. My mom & sister loved them too. It's sooo much better than an ice cream sandwich that you'd buy at the store. You can eat as many as you want & not feel guilty about it. It tastes like vanilla ice cream! BTW, I used cinnamon graham crackers. Adds a bit more flavor.
& that is the finished product! It's cold, creamy, vanilla-y, & delicious. I'm proud of myself for coming up with it! :P
